Small Group Classes and Individual Tutoring
a) Small group instructions are provided to a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 students. The lesson is held for registered participants at the same time. Please contact us: at info@germanuni.com if you would like to pay your fees separately. German Uni is not responsible for any financial loss of third parties. The price per teaching unit is based on per student.
b) In the event that we have to cancel a tutoring session due to any conditions, students will receive an email prior to class. We recommend checking your spam folder and marking our emails safe. The cancelled class will be made up prior to the end of the term.
c) All classes are taught in teaching units in increments of 60 minutes sessions.
d) The minimum age to make a purchase on this site is 18 years old or with the content of an adult. It is understood that by making a purchase, you are of the appropriate age or have content or are making a purchase with a form of payment that gives you the right to make purchases.
e) All online classes are held via Zoom. To be able to profit from our service, every student is obligated to have access to a free Zoom account.
f) Individual and Group Tutoring classes must be held for a period of 3 months after starting or as discussed with the instructor. The lessons not used will be lost and no refunds will be available.
g) In case you need to cancel your tutoring session please inform the teacher via email 24 hours prior to the class, otherwise, the lesson is considered held.
Classes
a) All classes will have a minimum of 8 students and a maximum of 20 students. Classes with fewer students will have fewer teaching units needed to complete the course requirements:
8 and more students = 32 teaching units
5-7 students = 30 teaching units
b) Students can pass a class by meeting attendance requirements of at least 70% of the course.
c) Individual and Group Tutoring classes must be held for a period of 2 months after starting. An extension of 2 weeks is available. The lessons not used will be lost and no refunds will be available.
d) If a student decides to be part of a particular course higher than A 1.2 a free 15-minute consultation with a German Uni instructor is required.
e) All online classes are held via Zoom. To be able to profit from our service, every student is obligated to have access to a free Zoom account.
f) Course materials are not included in the course fee. Course material instruction will be provided once you register.
g) The minimum age to make a purchase on this site is 18 years old or with the content of an adult. It is understood that by making a purchase, you are of the appropriate age or have content or are making a purchase with a form of payment that gives you the right to make purchases.
h) The age minimum for teens to attend a class is age 15 but only after consent from parents and/or legal guardians. A signed waiver from the guardian is needed.

i) All classes are taught in teaching units in increments of 45 minutes sessions.
Payment
a) Payment services are offered by Stripe. Most major payment forms are accepted.
b) Tuition fees must be paid by the time of enrollment. No space is guaranteed.
c) The tuition fee that is located on our bookNow page is the ultimate binding fee.
d) A maximum of one discount may be applied per course. We have the right to ask for proof of eligibility for the discount.
e) A 10% discount per course is available for full-time High School students, public college and public university students, senior citizens 65 and older, military veterans, and registered unemployed citizens. We have the right to ask for proof of eligibility for the discount.
Cancellation and Refunds
a) If you like to cancel a class that is provided by German Uni the following fees would apply:
10% of course fee up to 1 day prior to the beginning of the course/ tutoring session.
20% of the course fee on the day the course/ tutoring session begins.
100% of the fee on the second-course day/ or second tutoring session.
b) As we regret that no fees are refundable once the course/session has started, all students should consider their personal commitments and circumstances before enrollment. If you are not satisfied with your tutor after the first session, please contact us immediately. No refunds are possible after the second session.
c) We reserve the right to cancel a class up to 24 hours before the course starts. On this occasion, only the full course fee paid will be refunded. No other fees will be refunded.
d) A transfer to another class is only available after ending the first week of a language class and the beginning of the second week. The request to rebook into a different semester is treated as a cancellation.
e) A refund for Individual and Group tutoring class cancellations is available within 24 hours. Only then a 10% refund is given. No other fees will be refunded.
f) All cancellations are only accepted in written form. Email cancellation is acceptable only if sent using the email provided with the German Uni Registration.
Liability
a) The liability for damage and legal responsibility of German Uni and its employees is limited to intent and negligence. Neither German Uni nor its employees are liable for the cancellation of its services due to acts of God, industrial action, reasons due to the negligence of parties other than German Uni, or otherwise unacceptable reasons.
b) All clients are required to obey terms and conditions regulation. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
