I have always wanted to speak multiple languages and discover new countries. I'm in love with cities I've never been to and people I've never met. I wanted to be able to communicate in various languages and laugh in different ways with different people.

I grew up in a rather multicultural environment. Born and raised in Esslingen, a historic city in the Southern - part of Germany, speaking both German and Greek. I went to Greek school, learning about the culture and the written word of my ancestors. I studied Spanish, English, and German at the University of Constance.

Once I passed my state exams/ received my Master’s degree in German, English, and Spanish, I moved to San Francisco. I learned that the ability to learn a language should be available to EVERYONE/EVERYWHERE.

I decided to share the love and win hearts by creating an Online Language Education program, German Uni.

Our agency has developed. We offer a variety of subject areas and tutors who specialize in each, we strive to make learning fun, engaging, and effective.

I have had the pleasure of benefiting from Sophia's expertise in German for many years. Sophia has tutored all three of my children in German with tremendous results. She is truly a child and teen whisperer and manages to keep the kids fully engaged and excited even over zoom classes. Sophia's teaching style is very kid friendly, respectful, kind, and fun, yet effective and focused. She has prepared all of my kids very efficiently for several German exams as well as for conversational German. She has inspired a love of language and learning in all three of my kids, beginning when the youngest were just 6 and carrying through consistently for many years, my oldest is now 14.
